I think the amount of young Somali men who are behind bars and a part of street gangs (ciyaal suuq) as well as older men who live off benefits and/or eat qhat all day in Somali cafés rather than provide and look after their family like men is a more pressing issue for the Somali community. What do you think?

P.S. This may also solve the marrying out issue. Perhaps many Somali women have given up on Somali men (even though the majority still marry in). Someone once (accurately in my opinion) observed that Somali women are more hardworking than Somali men (many of whom lazy around). Funny some guys are trying to bring solutions to stop Somali females from marrying outside their ethnicity. There used to be a trend where Xaliimos would quickly get themselves involved in marriages with Ajnaabis, in rushed marriages. The Ajnaabis tended to be African-Americans/Jamaicans, but there were also some Whites and even Hispanics involved in these rushed interracial marriages with these Somali ladies. Oftentimes, the Somali female barely knows the Ajnaabi man she's agreeing to marry

What often happens in these sorts of marriages is that the Xaliimo loses connection with her Somali identity, and often raises children who are not seen as fully authentically Somali (and rightly so). It gets even more difficult for her to re-enter the dating market, as Somali men are far more reluctant to marry a Xaliimo who's been involved with an Ajnaabi (an undeniable truth).

Life isn't all fairytales. Once the honeymoon phase ends, you'll see your partner for who he really is. You're much better off marrying a Somali (or someone culturally close to being a Somali) with good character/religion. Even if this brother doesn't make a good salary, you can overcome that. Perhaps this brother (if he's motivated) can return to school and learn a trade, and then earn more money in the future.
