I don't think Somalis will ever be extincted from this wonderful earth until the Day of Qiyaamah. Somalis have been on this Planet for thousands of years if not more. We appear to be in some sort of transition that has begun during the arrival of the Somali Civil War, and Somalis have scattered around the globe since then. That doesn't mean; however, Somalis will vanish from the face of the earth.

Qabil doesn't equal something like diinta where you have to do work for.

Aniga cant see myself settling down with anyone but a soomali. Everytime I even contemplate what it would be like ending up with an ajanabi, I start of think of a typical scenario that would arise if we were together. This one crops up quite frequently. Imagine being in ur own home. You're on the phone. You're kid is running around the living room making a great deal of racket. You get fed up with the noise and end up shouting "War iga fariiso, nacala....blank blank blank!!!!!!!!!!!". 'Oh no', you think. A somali word has just escapes ur lips. Here it goes again. You're husband goes..."Hey, what does that mean again?" You say, "What does 'Warya' mean?" Husband goes, "Yeah, that and 'Igar'/'eagar' and also 'Fareeysow'. What do they mean? Btw does 'Warya' mean boy or girl?". Then you start to think that this conversation seems so familiar, de ja vu miya? Ahh yes, you remember what this conversation reminds you of. That time when you were still living at home and a family member has just been round. Some random islaan you know as 'Habaryar'. You were watching something on tv, film was it? The islaan sits down and starts watching the film with you. Then every 30 seconds shes saying, "Oo hada nikaas muxu leeyahay?"......."Muxuu la ooyeyay?"......"Gabadhaas waa tuma?"......."Ma ninka bey wax su'yihiin?"......"Waa xagee meeshas?"........."Filimkaan ma been baa mise waa run?". You leave your trance and say to ur husband... *Sigh* "Yes, 'Warya' means girl".

So then I snap out of this pathetic reflection of 'A day in the life with my ajanabi husband'....and say, Fug this shidh.....Somali all day everyday!!! ( <---Only my second time using this horrid smilie, ykh.)

Its not all doom and gloom for somalida, we often get caught up in the negatives and never celebrate the postives.

Somalis are doing pretty well considering the circumstances. Look at how many somalis in various UK universities, I dont think any immigrant community has had as many university graduates in porportion to their population as Somalis, especially in their first 2 decades of arriving. Just look at how many Somalis soceities have popped up in recent years, that alone is testament.

In terms of deen, just visit any masjid even for fajar salat and you'll see almost all the rows occupied by mainly somalis.

Divorce rates again are probably a fraction when compared to both non muslim couples and also muslims from other nations.

In the recent general election you saw how many somali councillors were elected

And I agree with Addow ajanabi women don;t stink if anything they are very attractive. Farax who married ajnabi wives are still carrying on the Somali seed and his son will inevitabely be Somali. Those kids are actually more somali then these "full" somalis I have observed who conform to western society. I just cant stand xalimos who marry kuunte because their kids are ajnabi and will be disowned by somali community.
