Somaliland just wants to keep Dhulbahante and Warsangeli out of the wadahadle. Puntland should be involved and so should Khaatumo cause it concerns their region.

You have a dhulbahante, and all darood qabiils in the TFG, you cant be represented twice :? Do all PL politicians want to leave the TFG and they can have their share as PL?

We are not represented at all in the talks.

^ In that case Why do you have an opinion on who should get represented and who shouldn't?

Siilaanyo was smart when he picked his technical committee. Sh Sharif wasn't.

Shriif picked who he thought would bring the best result for "Somalia", you think being smart is getting people only PL are happy with? he picked a committee from Darood, Dir, Banadiri, Raxanweyn and Hawiye to include most people, marka how can you guys complain? everyone gets 1 you guys get 3, how does that logic work :|

the committee should be composed of people from the north.
Why should the tfg play the secessionists game, that all northerners want to secede.

Somaliland does not engage with TFG, the main issues between Somaliland and Somalia is the dispute, conflict and fighting between Somaliland and Khaatumo. You will not solve any problems by over looking that issue .Do you see what I am trying to say? If our TFG minister was part of the talks perhaps something tangible could be achieved. Instead you have 1 Dhulbahante representing Somaliland and another Dhulbahante representing Puntland but both claiming the region and its people. This is just going to be counter-productive.

All 3

SSC exchanged for recognition is probably the most likely
thing acceptable to all parties.

men, women and children are being killed in the, "disputed regions".
whole towns and cities are being besieged and bombarded in the, "disputed regions".
Thousands of civilians have been driven from their homes in the, "disputed regions".

now we have some jokers suggesting the, "disputed regions" are not the issue.
The "disputed regions" and the atrocities being committed there, must be the cornerstone of any discussions with the secessionists.
