twist, the overall divorce rate in the US is extremely high but among individual ethnic backgrounds, the Asians have the least. I saw another study in which most subjects of both genders said divorce/separation brought happiness to them - feel free/liberated after they've left their spouse/long term relationship. My twist to this is "are those who stick together longer any happier?"
