Actually, it should be the other way around. If you must marry a cousin then it's best to marry one from your father's side and not the mother's side. Children usually get most of their from the mother's side of the family and not the father. This is a fact (but it' too late at night for me to bother consulting google for a better scientific explanation).

The only problem with marrying your cousin is famaliarty. The entire family will know about every fart you make and the women (such as your sisters, mother and other cousins) will find out about your foot fetish or your fondness for bottom spanking.

walahi i think my family is in the minority in terms cousin marrage....we dnt even have same sub clan marriages ..what hell we dnt have same clan marriages going bk 5 generation on both side...

nothing is wrong in marrying ur cuzins.
