Re: Did Islamic Courts understand Kismayo politics?
DS, don't bring this bullshit story that Marexaan are majority in Kismayo. MJ's triple you.
I don't want to bring COSTA's pics into this -- the ones of the Marexaan refugee camps outside Kismayo.
You know every restaurant is run by Carab Salaax, Cali Saleban, Ciise Maxamud, Cusman Maxamud, and Absame sub-clans. Your population in Kismayo was 10% in '96 hasn't changed much within the city. You live in the outskirts.
Every time a restaurant or store is robbed, its Absame or Majerteen. A theater was attacked months ago, its Ciise Maxamud, a popular shop owner was killed a few days ago -- Bartiire.
Don't give me shit that Marexaan have moved up from the refugee camps in town.

If Barre Hiiraale accepted shareca he would keep everything.
The ICU leadership was mainly Hawiye which is wrong but they were fighting against Hawiye and putting them into line.
You only mention their bad sides.

DawaldSade
Most of your information in connection with Kismayo lack merit.
Kismayo was never Marehan land; it belonged to Ogaden iyo Majeerteen, who shared the land together as brothers. When the Civil War, prospered (I use that term lightly), Marehan inherited an alliance with Habar Gidir ceyr, and with the heavy fighting consequently many fled.

Well said. And the quule mafia continues to disrupt life for ordinary Kismayo folks. Why do you think Majerteen and other non-Marexaan clans rejoiced when the Islamic Courts took the town.

No one was talking to you. And don't ever agree with anything I say.
You honestly disgust me.
And no one rejoiced when the ICU "took" "over".
Take your atheist ass somewhere else.

DawaldSade,
Only men with small penises, who need to compensate for their lack thereof, are sexist. Either you agree or disagree.
But don't use my gender, to put yourself in a higher degree.
