Re: Who rules Galgadud?
Even Upper Mudug under Puntland rule is wild, forget about the rest. Families in Gaalkacyo frequently break into jails to free a cousin or punish an entire group of IDPs from the south, because a Bantu kid talked back.
Ok, kiddo let's establish something. No one infringes on magan rights ("guest rights") except for the majeerteen...after the Wagardhac fought the Saleban in Gelinsoor to protect the Sacad magan, a Wagardhac killed a Saleban magan in Caabudwaaq and before any of the Marehan or Wagardhac could act, his own laf almost came to blows in order to give him so he can be shot. He escaped but that is what the dhaqan of Marehan, the real quintessential reer Mudug and the ones who gave Mudug its description as a warrior like place, but still a thirsty nomad will give up his water to a guest.
We don't do that, you guys do that, that is not a Mudug trait.

Re: Who rules Galgadud?
The Habir Gidir, Galgadug Marehan and Abgaal really need to put aside their disputes and form a state together. Everyone else is forming states, and they'll be left behind. Galmudug is a good idea, and it should be supported.
Galgadud has uranium, a very valuable resource, and if a solid state was in place you guys could all get rich off it.

DS
You're twisting things about Reer Mudugnimo son. Even though the presence of that rule is true and regarded as sacred, it cannot however be applied on an ethnicity deemed as subhuman by the Reer Mudug.
Your post explains the Bantu features amongst the Mareexaan in Mudug. And I thought Cusmaan Maxamuud had the Jigaboo title of Daarood on lockdown.

Ah ok.
Is Galmudug going to design their own flag finally? Everyone else has one now, even Puntland's is slightly different from the national flag.

James... We are tackling far bigger threat... and are heading in the right direction. thats what matters.. Flags and other small things belong in the irrelevant box along with what reer cabudwaaq thinks of Galmudug State.

Re: Who rules Galgadud?
James Dhal you seem like you got an agenda. What is your other name? Usually when people come here looking for information, they don't debate with you as if they already know what they want and are aiming for.
NO SUCH THING AS GALMUDUG EXISTS...it was political thing of majeerteen to counter the ICU, they whispered in the sacad's ears about making a maamul, originally they made it with the intention it will be a tributary state to puntland but the icu was defeated quickly and so there was no more benefit from using sacad, in fact the majeerteen thought they mislead the sacad to a point the sacad start being clingy, galmudug is over dude, it was a temporary thing to counter the icu, sacad never ruled anything in his life, how the hell do you expect them to manage anything even the most deserted and desert landscape of east africa, 1 person per every hundred square kilometers?

it is why they could not approach the cayr wadaado with it, nor even speak of its name near their mortal enemy and incidentally their "brothers" the saleban

Re: Who rules Galgadud?
I don't have an agenda beyond just understanding the situation, and documenting it.
