reena, in terms of quality (plot, storyline, visual effects, etc), is Bollywood better than Hollywood?

I’m a bit of an artsy sort of chick so I tend to favor the independent stuff as long as it’s not too pretentious.
I also like a lot of old classic Hollywood stuff. I also like it when they step away from the usual formulas and give us something groundbreaking and something to talk about.
Example: The color Purple. That’s one of my all time favorites. No matter how many times I see it I cry.

LOl HyperA, wallahi wa iga ficaantahay, mashallah. U sure dont waste your time on nonesense. Well, here is the irony, I just got my Halal meat Arab guy hook me up with a free dish for the blessed month( well its not free, lakine its only like $20 I got to pay him per monthly). I wont be able to watch it (TV) until after afuur anyway, lakiin like the arabic show for the Ramadan and the whole middle eastern feast of ramadan on these channels.

I will watch any documentary regardless of what’s about. Things about factual events are hit with me newly. Historic events too.
I also discovered Asian cinema recently minus Hindi.
Still watch some Hollywood, only big movies tho with big branded actors.
