I have never seen footage like that before. Usually pre-war footage is just a few desolate areas here and there, but I never saw the full and busy market like that in a video, in the 1980's, wow! In one scene, you couldn't tell the difference between Mogadishu and a European/Turkish street.

Says who? One of my relatives was in Xamar sometime back in 06 (checking on some of our properties) and she came back unharmed. I could go back if I wanted to, there's just nothing to go back too..except rotting corpses and what not..
