Wow!
I have never seen footage like that before. Usually pre-war footage is just a few desolate areas here and there, but I never saw the full and busy market like that in a video, in the 1980's, wow! In one scene, you couldn't tell the difference between Mogadishu and a European/Turkish street.

It's so depressing that people in my age group have to look at pictures or watch videos of Mogadisho just to vicariously pretend like they've actually lived through the experience..

Screw that shit, I'm not from Xamar, never was.
Unlike some poor saps, I have a comfortable bed in Jamaame to return to, and Garoowe at last resort.
I just have to clean the webs out of my 20-year abandoned bed, but its no big deal.

They key phrase being "Going Back" --- something you lost Reer Xamar folks CANNOT do.
