Ismahan is right. I agree with her.

It is sickening to see every day how many among us would waste their money and time on trivial things and places. We have the opportunity in front of us but we are not smart to spot them or take advantage of them.

I used to be critical Somali women but then after long analysis, I realized the problem that any Somali woman would have is impact from Somali man. Somali women are not close to perfect but they are better than Somali men.

Somali men made a mess in Somali politics and as well as Somali women lives.

SomeGuy, such wisdom.

Let me ask you this, how many of you today will welcome women politicians?

I have nothing against women politicians. If they are good at what they do, I have no issue with them being a woman.

As long as they are not secular politicians. They must be a good Muslim politicians.

A woman secular politician will and can have extra treacherous affect on country than a male one. I truly believe that.

Demure,

Politician?. I see no women politicians at all. However, I have listened to good and Educated Somali women talking about Somali family and Somali society problems. It was perfect!. They nailed it. And all I can say is it was the best I ever listened Walaahi. These womens have some brains. I wonder how they were selected. But then no surprise here. There are more Somali girls going to college than boys.

And Dumere since when you saw me not welcoming women?. Many of us respect women with brains. What made Somali women is not they came out of no where. It is our respect and how Somali women are raised. That is why many of us are feminists. Somali auther, Nuradin Farah are known to be Feminist author. Thus, I, for one, like women who grew some brain cells. In fact, I get turn on listening to women with brain talking!.

However, I hate empty skulled shouting on the top of her lungs, air heads, talking heads, brain dead whahabia ones, and Jane-wannabees. And of course women clanists like you Demure!. Man clanist is ok with me. However, women shouldn't be clanists. It is just ugly. When Somali woman become clanist, the link between society is lost--no bond between the clans. Granted I am clanist but I never looked at Somali women through my clanist lenses. When will you give up being clanist minded Demure?.

Secularism and feminism go together hand in hand so to have a secular female politician would mean the birth of Islamic feminism though it’s by now on the increase anyway.

Woman secular politician can be effortlessly subjugated than a male one.

A secular woman politician will have extra addressees than a male one, principally other women and as a result we will have a whole nation of Ayaan Hirsi’s and here likes.

A secular woman politician will be beleaguered by Western authorities who see an opening to construct or enforce their ideologies and interests whatever they might be.

I’m not saying a male secular politician is any better but I’m saying he won’t be much of a victim than a woman would be.

This by far the healthiest conversation I've heard a group of somalis engage.

Somali language has never sounded so eloquently beautiful. Cool

1nemansquad,

You used be better than that, man. I don't what materials you been reading but for sure you are on your way to be Whahabi knuckle head. To be secular woman politician, one shouldn't be Ayan Hirsi and her likes. Are trying to tell us all hardworking Somali women who works in Europe and North America are Ayan and her ilks?. You blew it, kid. You need to get some grip on reality.

Ayan Hirsi is a league of her own. And whahabia brain deads are also another league of their own. And the rest of Somali women are than these two destructive elements. Somali women should be politicians and lead this focked up land of ours politics. And if they even decide to be rule in Sharia law, it would not be as hash as IUC--whahabia cult. I don't think I will ever see women ordering a poor mental man should be slaughtered like sheep in broad daylight in the name of 'Qisaas'. Somali men failed Somalia. it is time Somali women take the lead. And it is time for you,1nemansquad , to stop being knuckle head and stop listening to whoever brainwashing you.
