But sxb look at what he's comparing.. your friend here is delusional. I wouldn't be surprised if he compared Beled-Xawo to Bosaso tommorow.

Google earth is the new judge between Somalis claiming everything. Pictures of a few building can not prove whether a town is a large city or not...Alot of qarxis has been done by Google earth already.
Also, a mosque is a fundamental building in every Somali town. It does not indicate urbanisation.
Look at this large mosque in Basra/Balcad. A tuulo which does not bragg

What in the world are you talking about Udeejeen? The latter article's title is about the Mosque but the general article is about the development of Caabudwaaq as one of the two biggest cities in central Somalia along with Gaalkacyo. Maybe you should actually try to read for once capisce?
---"Waxaa kaloo ku soo qul qulaya Caabudwaaq waayadan dambe Jaaliyadaha dibada kuwaas oo marka ay Caabudwaaq arkaan ka marqaati kaca in ay Caabudwaaq noqotay Caasimad aan cidina ogayn in ay intaas le'egtahay, isla markaana aan cid aan aragi aynan qiyaasi karin isbadalka iyo horumarka ay sameysay Caabudwaaq."--
---"Sidoo kalle waxa magaalada ka socda dhismo Isbitaal gaaraya 900 oo sariirood, kaaso hada laga dhex qodayo Matoor Biyood oo isbitaalka u gaar ah."---
p.s. the mosque was buitl by a Saudi agency. I am well aware of what goes on in Somalia.

It looks ok,but you dont need to kill Dhuusamareeb to make Cabudwaaq high

Adan no sxb, it surprised me.

My dad told me long time ago no one builds Dhuusamareeb because the Mareexaan have left there and the Cayr cannot build on land they are not sure who will claim later but I did not know to that extent.

Guys, either Google Earth it or quit the comparison. Dusomareeb shows up on the map, but Cabudwaaq does not, at all.
Google Earth is pretty useful, in fact I didn't know Qardo was 3x the size of Berbera. Oh Google Earth, so wonderful.

Did you want me to say the Cusmaan Maxmuud tuulo Qardho?
There are more Mareexaan and Dir in Gaalkacyo than Cusmaan Maxmuud, maxaa kaa galay waa yaabe.

Headlinkaaga ma wanaagsana...We cannot invest in gobal when we are not sure on the central power in somalia..we have too many enemies.impossible think about devoloping our cities, they dont even want us to breathe let alone to build....marka we invest in war

Let Cabudwaaq be included on google earth, then we'll talk.
It's funny how this kid brings every little news related to his group on the forum and at the same time mitigates other groups in order to look bigger.
It started with Dhuusamareeb, then bragging about mosque in Abudwaaq, while at the same time mitigating Galgacio and Dhusomareeb. Now he braggs about Hospital with 900 beds? If my memory serves me right there was also a very large hospital at Buuhoodle, yet you do not hear people claiming to be as large as Hargeiso or Galcaio
What does this say about his self-confidence?

Adan, garashadu igama fogo and I am a very reasonable person marka before you baan gartay my headline was completely uncalled for---reason why it's changed. Adigu I don't know hadaad Mareexaan kala taqaanid, but anigu i am reer diini, reer siyaad diini..qolo waxaan ka tirsanahay la yiraahdo bah-xawaadle..like how Wagardhac borders Sacad, we border Cayr..Cayrka waan la dagi jirnay, la dagaali jirnay, gabadho kala qaadan jirnay etc...marka dad badan oo reer dhuusamareeb ahaa baan qaraabo nahay, you can imagine my surprise when the fabled dhuusamareeb is not a sight to behold today!!
Somaliweyn blah blah, maxaad haysaa aan nacnac ahayn??
Metal/Paidmonk you came here 4 times to mention google earth when you have already said Caabudwaaq does not show on google earth!! The older version of google earth did not show Dhuusamareeb, Baardheere, and many other cities in Somalia but the updated version as of august does, so why don't you wait until the more updated version comes that can take satellites photos of more Somali cities!
hobyo shows up and you will tell me hobyo is even 1/12 of Caabudwaaq

Okay, then, substitute Google Earth with another source.
I'm not picking sides or anything, I care less which dusty tuulo anywhere in Somalia is bigger---however on a side note, I hate the fact that "debates" on this forum typically last 20 pages without sources or references.
Everybody go back to your corners and get the gloves off, pull out your books, and lets get this debate on another level.

In 1967 Dhuusamareeb consisted of three stone buildings and a bad smell. The water tasted sulfury, but the restaurant had cold Aranchatta. I think it was five shillings a bottle, which was expensive then. I drank four bottles.
