The US NEVER supported the USC. Where the fuck did you get that from?
The US supported Contras in Nicaragua to topple a COMMUNIST regime, since we were at war ideologically with communism.
The US NEVER supported any rebel movements in Columbia or the Phillipines.
The US government supported Siad Barres government until 1990, when he became so heavy handed, we withdrew support. We still did not support any other opposition groups.
