Isn't 17 years going on 18 years not even including the late 80's war against Somaliland. Its waste of time to talk about greater Somalia, what you should concentrate your energy on is how to solve the problem in the South before you can ask Somaliland to give up their right to seek independence.

Put in somaliland the case for unification is getting stronger, all it need's for the somaliland suppoters of somaliwyen to win their case is for somalia to stand up and get its act together. Somaliland is not going nowhere, the chance of all them african countries granting somaliland independence is less then zero.
