Re: Imam Ahmed Gurey's clan is finally solved.
This has been the biggest mystery to hit Somalis, even when our Imaam was reading from the "Futuhul Habasha" book, some members of the congregation were dying to find out about the clan of Sh. Ahmad and some dude actually stood up & asked openly.

No need just ask urself where he was born and where he died and the question u should be asking urself is we dont even share a border with any marexaan or harti and somehow marexaan where in that area just 500 years ago and disappeared, the biggest battle where the muslims where massacred is in Amoud and i have seen it with my own eyes so need all am gonna say is u marexaan people should stop lieing to urself and fall for what MSB did to rewrite history in favor of his folkz.

Are you retarded or something? Futux Al Habesha is one source, and even in that source Mareexaan were repeated throughout as an integral part of the Imam's campaign and many instances speaking of his Mareexaan commanders. But who is talking about Futux Al Habesha?
This is a combination of sources from many middle ages European and Arab historians. I think you might need to go back to my FIRST post and comprehend what was written there. This is not complicated so don't act like a middle school kid introduced to quantum mechanics.

Waa la ya qaan Imam Ahmed Gurey waxu kasi yahay Marexaan
There are no complications whatsoever, in this so called debate about the unresolved identity of the Imam.

King of Awdal this is what was gotten from those sources:
Imam Ahmed Gurey is recorded as being the uncle of the Emir who succeeded him, Emiir Nuur.
http://bp0.blogger.com/_93eAGUfvip8/Rvk ... Africa.JPG
In this biography of Emiir Nuur, his clan and therefore the clan of his family including his uncle Imam Ahmed Gurey is recorded. It also shows that he inherited the Imam's wife (Dumaalay) meaning he they shared the same qabiil, so by uncle not meaning "abti" but "adeer".
http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u111 ... ujahid.jpg
After so much arguing the puzzle is solved simply and one group who knew all of this based on oral history now have written history on their side.
If you want to question this information, you are more than welcome to check up on these sources starting with the Cambridge History of Africa. They are all in your university library, so go ahead and read for once!
The bibliography:
1. R.Basset (editor, Histoire de la conquete de l’Abyssinie (“History of the Conquest of Abyssinia”), Paris, 1897-1901;
2. Dr. E. Cerulli, “Documenti arabi per la storia dell’Ethiopia,” Memoria della Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, Vol. 4, No. 2, Rome, 1931
3. Dr. E. Cerulli, La lingua e la storia di Harar (“The Language and History of Harar”), Rome, 1936
4. Dr. E. Cerulli, “Gli Emiri di Harar dal secolo XVI alla conquista agiziana” (“The Mirs of Harar From the 16th Century to the Egyptian Conquest”),
5. Dr. E. Cerulli, Rassegna di Studi Ethiopici, Vol. 2, Rome, 1942
6. Hadj Yusuf AbdulRahman (editor), Kitab Rabi’a al-Qulub fi Dhikr Manaqib wa Fada’il Sayyidina as Sheikh Nur Hussein (“The Springtime of Hearts in Memory of the Virtues and Merits of Our Lord the Sheikh Nur Hussein”), Cairo, 1927
7. J. Spencer Trimingham, Islam in Ethiopia, London, 1952
8. K. Wndt, “Amharische Geschichte eines Emirs von Harar in XVI Jahrhundert,” (“An Ahmhari History of One of the Emirs of 16th Century of Harar”), Orientalia, Vol. 6, No. ¾, Rome, 1937

I dont need some stupid European to tell me what Ahmed Gurey was those who are weak go and have a baseless point to proof fall that low as for Futal-Al-Habash Marexaan isnt the only Tribe mentioned and as i said tell me any where near the land the Adel empire was in that any marexaan lives or lived in, None what so ever. Its useless arguing with folkz whose whole world revolves around what their beloved Said Siad Barre aun wrote in favor of his kinsfolk. Ahmed Gurey was a Reer Mohommed of the samaroon so dont come in here with some bullshit crap u bought from some european books.

Get this people..Even though all these sources were written before the 1930's, "Mohamed Siad wrote this infavor his qabiil" and "Ahmed Gurey was reer Mohamed of Samaroon even if not written by anyone".
Ok King of Awdal, waa runtaa.
The time these books were written and anyone can double check from their nearest Univerisity Library:
"Paris, 1897-1901;"
"Rome, 1936"
King, I can't show you how you look like right now but after couple years when you have matured and your balls have dropped, I am pretty sure you will see how you come off in this thread but in the meantime let the adults carry on their discussions.
