If you are from Ceder, you get Somalis respect in Minnesota. That hood is the home for Most Somali Gangs and they cleansed African Americans from that area. I used to go that area back in High school and stopped going there once I moved outside of Minneapolis

I went to Minnesota for the first time on Labor weekend. I was mainly at the mu'tamar, but I was staying at Portland Ave area mostly. I went to 24 once, and the place is straight up Nairobi or some shid. The only restaurants I ate at was Shabelle and Safari across the street from the convention center. Horta do you know these Ali Salebaan guys who own a dhahab store with a big Puntland flag on it? They were the Adeers of my boy I was with.

First and only time i went to MN i stayed at Hyatt Hotel in Downtown since i was there for a convention but there was this place close by some kind of caffe, man it was always full of somali old men and i also went to i think its called Carmel somali market once and the rest of the time was spend walking around downtown.

Shabbele restaurant? I never heard of that restaurant. I know Safaari and its Owned by Marehan brothers(Jamal and Abaadir). Its the best restuarent in Minneapolis along with East Village(Reer Mahad). As for the Dahab store which one the one in Karmel Mall or the one in 24th? Both of them are owned by Majeerteen..

Yea Shabelle restaurant near the Abu Bakr Siddiq Masjid. I went there for breakfast. I was talking about the dahab store at 24. Some Ali Saleeban dudes one of them fat as hell own it. These guys were also big shots in Xamar back in the day I heard. Yo whats up with all these Amhaaric chicks/dudes at Safaari? Wallahi I didn't like that shid.

Don't get me wrong. The cause is noble. However I really believe that Tigray getting out will take a united Somali armed struggle, not supplications to fat indifferent congressmen.
