reer woqooyi shishe spoken in hargeisa sounds gay. reer woqooyi soke in burco is quite normal and is similar to reer mudug.
Re: Somalis accents that sound violent
Well I guess i am qualified to give an honest view on the subject..since I myself have problem speaking mali language.
I find reer xamar accents very calm it generates an aura of happiness from those speaking the lingo..
Reer mudug..they sound to me canning almost plotting sumthing fishy... they like to han people
Somaliland..I was there last year..Mama mia....to me they sound to me when they speak there is commotion or to an imminent danger around the corner. They sound threatening me.
Having said that one thing I will concede is that unlike other Somalis they don't talk behind the people.
Thats is a Tz mali's is observation...I hope I dnt look tribalist...is just an honest view

I don't know. I don't qaldaan intimidating or scary as you put. I find it really funny. Even little kids sound like old men when they speak with qaldan accent. A girl with qaldan accent sounds even funnier than a guy. With that said, I think Qaldan accent is kind of cool. Waa afsomali asal ah just like the central somali(greater mudug region) accent. Reer Xamar accent on a guy just makes him look like a homo. A dude can't call another dude 'aboowe'. Just wrong on so many focking levels.
