SNM never intended on starting the foundation of what would be of Somaliland, they were an orgaization out to settle a score with anyone who didnt follow there ideology especially against Daroods. Rayaale is a Mujahiid, he sacrificed alot for somaliland especially during the Buroa habar habar wars when he made peace between the warring Isaqs. He was the first governor of the Awdal region in the early 90s and twice held the imp. post of vice president.
