Looking at the big picture, I am personally against the double standard because if the men are sleeping around they are sleeping around with the women and it doesn't make sense for a man to disparage what he deflowered. Also, Islamically it's the same sin.

Having said that, men & women both disparage the reputation of a woman who sleeps around. She would be called bad names by women themselves.

So it's best for a woman to look out for herself. Many men are hypocrites but all the more reason for a sister to look out for herself.
