I am not into sufism or any other sect..but the above quote is exactly whats wrong with the so clled wahabism...and that name calling and distinguishing among even sunni muslims..not to mention the killings..were not part of the prophets teachings.

Muhammad Abdul Wahab helped teach the true teachings in light of Qur'an and Sunnah

It is very interesting that you included Boqolsoon as one of your righteous Wahaabi preachers. I listened to his cassette on Salaadda. In it he says that anyone who fails to pray five times is an infidel and an apostate. He should be attacked and his possessions looted, his wife divorced from him.

Is this reasonable? Is this sane?

If Wahaabi thugs like the ICU take over and I refuse to pray, is this the fate that awaits me?

Sufism is what hindered the progress of Islam in Muslim countries. Sufi "Sheikhs" by tradition are lap dogs of Muslim regimes; they work under their supervision, often times bless such brutal dictatorships and are always silent when it comes to social issues.

Your support for Sufi "Sheikhs" is understandable, since these men were the same ones who used to bless USC technicals as they prepared for battle. These 'Sheikhs' would recite Qur'an and spill some tahliil on the mooryaan & their vehicles, then tell them that they were true Mujaahideen.

Your love for this fictitious sect simply arises from the fact that they represent your version of a white-washed Islam; in which alcholism, secularism and all Western ideologies are accepted and praised. you dont pray to anyone other than allah, you dont try to perform magic or shid...thats haram...

this isn't about killing someone if they dont pray, thats between a person and Allah....its about avoiding SHIRK...something that was widespread

After the 98 world cup I remember reading an article and Zenedine Zidane said he was a non practicing Muslim. I grew angry with that comment and said what the hell is Zidane talking about, whats a non practicing Muslim.

Then I looked around and realized Zidane was only telling the truth. How many non practicing Muslims are there. There a lot but just don't call themselves that. A Muslim who does not pray is a NON PRACTICING MUSLIM.

Thats the truth folks, Zidane just told it like it was.

To be a Muslim, you have to PRACTICE

[Between a man and shirk and kufr there stands his neglect of the prayer.] (Narrated by Muslim in Kitaab al-Eemaan)

He did not say such a person's properties or life are to be taken, I heard the same tape, stop your pathetic lies. Such a man can not remain married to a beliefing woman, because of the verse that says a beliefing woman can not marry or remain married to an infidel.

What about those Akhwans who emptied out the schools and orphanages to take the students to the frontline to meet certain death ? The Akhwans issued "Heavenly Diplomas" that they gave to the poorly trained child soldiers that they said guaranteed them entrance into heaven.
