A good friend of mine came back from Galkacyo recently. It seems to be a well built city. He told me he hated staying in Bossaso but loved Galkacyo, and I've seen other Puntlanders with that sentiment. Is it really that much better than Bossaso?

Can't see myself going back unless there is money to be had, visit every now and then but that's about it.
Puntland may be better than the south and other places in terms of infrastructure and peace, but it's still piss poor place compared to the rest of africa. I'd rather live in Nairobi, with the urban atmosphere, hot kenyatti/somali girls, and nice weather.
