They got my blessing in destroying the tombs of prophet muhammad saws,aboo bakar sidiiq(R.A) and cumar ibn khattab(R.A).

There is no compulsion in religion... Allah (swt) gave us a brain to think for ourself and not blindly be a follower... and my brain wants to know what is the reason for destroying sites, i would not be worshipping at that site.. but for preservation and history a site connected to the prophet(pbuh)..why not??

It also includes land marks and there is no Hadith that says we should demolish such sites.

They bloody themselves, they weep, they crawl and walk on all fours. You come off with the opinion that they are worse than the christians. In fact, one of the christian sects do bloody themselves and beat their body with the chains, so do they have something in common at times whilst they exceed in other areas of polytheism.

Saudis are correct in destroying all burial grounds which has the potential to attract grave worshippers. They are saving people from eternal abode in hell. Allah forgives all sins except Polytheism, and what the Shi'ites and some sufis do by the graves, and the rituals they perform are pure polytheism.


I personally would love to see where prophet mohamed was born and houses he spent sometime in, at the same time, the elimination of such historic places safeguards the beliefs of many muslims who are at risk of falling into a trap.

Gamadiid, have you read the article? It is not only restricted to burial sites, but historic Mosques that were built 1203 years ago. The Taliban, another Wahabi sect, had once destroyed a major Budhist Temple that had nothing to do with Islam.

It is a major problem that the Islamic world faces and it is directly bankrolled out of Saudi Arabia.

Crushing these shrines is a good thing... The mosque is questionable....

The al ahmed fellow is probably a saudi shia or sufi who's mad that one of his shia Imams shrines is gonna be taken out or his sufi saint is not gonna be worshipped...

The only landmarks in Islam are the three mosques in makka, medina and Aqsa where we visit to worship Allah..

Any other landmarks where people travel or visit are innovation in the deen that should be destroyed..

Wareer, I don't know what their justification for the mosque demolition is but they are right about the shrines and burial grounds. May be they saw some people taking a sand or a piece of the mosque walls for keeps and blessing, then the saudis decided this will lead to more foul play :)) I don't think they are right about the mosque.

This deen is not a deen of being sentimental and symbolic. Its clear cut and dry. At the Prophet's Mosque people make sujuud to the prophet saw grave. During the time of Khalif Cumar Radhiallahu Canhu He destroyed the tree of radwaan the tree where the Prophet saw sat when taking the pledge of hudaibiyaah after he saw some Muslims flocking to them. Bid'ah (innovation in Religion) must be nipped in the budd before it could possibly start. Look at the people of Nuux Calayhi Salam and how they fell into shirk. It started slowly in steps. We're not Whites and Westerners when We come to do Xajj/Cumrah. We're not going to a museum where here to fulfil our Religious obligation of Xajj/Cumrah and leave with the rest of the ummah that does so. We're not there for a tour. Anyway I'm starting to get sick of the Somalis with Wareer's, xplaya's and many other people's logic and constant licking after Western man made ideals thinking it will make them sophisticated and smart.
