I have no problem what so ever with a male nurse..Nothing wrong with it..I see that person as a professional human being who help people day and night...The money he earns is a pure Halal money... I wish we have more nurses in our communities men and women...

What I see a problem is the drop outs of school who hides himself behind womens' skirts and collects welfare and fake disability benefits....

Nursing at or above the RN level is a highly skilled and well-paid profession. In the US, there have been for some time "nurse-practioner" programs that have allowed a good many nurses to practice medicine largely unsupervised. I have a sister-in-law, now retired, who practiced as a mid-wife-obstetrician, and was able to save something over $3M for retirement.

In many cases, folks had the grades to be doctors or dentists, but did not have the money or circumstances to get into the right programs. For these folks, nursing is a fall-back position that can still lead to (semi-)professional standing. Dental technicians are in the same category. 8)
