If you don't trust your wife she won't trust you, so the whole household will be in mistrust...You should be a man enough to know who is your wife..:

1. Is she a gold digger?

2. Is she an extravagant silly women, who likes to show off and throw away her money here and there..like Diric and make-up and designer shoes etc etc

3. Is she an honest girl who works as hard as you and is ready to take care of her household; children, husband and business etc.

4. Does she hide things from you etc etc

5. Is she open to you and tells you all about her business..

What is up with this mistrust you guys are talking about?
Please don't think that way ever...

kambuli, I would provide my future wife what Islam requires me to provide her, and maybe a little bit more. However, I wouldn't let my future wife know everything.
