Maakhirians condemn the act, considering Sanaag has been static in development after the ending of the 18th century. Sanaagians should work together instead of their neutral status in Somalia should forge a new path and embrace their legacy as Maakhirians. Somalis from both the Western and Eastern regions have been anti-Maakhir and now is a crucial time for Maakhirians to distance themselves from the 20 yrs of chaos and the disputed status which Western Somalis have crippled resources from reaching Maakhir with. I want to see a few 7 story buildings and maybe a skyscrper in LQ and Maakhir. Some roads and a highway. With Somalia and after a 100 yrs this can never be possible.
