To those muslims that say something about Sharia law....spend a day or two in Gitmo, you then shall appreciate the muslim decency.

When your in a box of a room, pitch black for days and days, hearing nothing but loud metal music, and having crazy light beams, then only then you'll know the difference between democracy and Sharia law.

To be killed is to die, and I will eventually die....its a matter of how you are killed. On the one hand you are tortured eventually killed, on the other hand you are swiftly cut with the sword. The choice is yours.

Democracy process isn't bad.

Whats bad is the hypocrisy.

Okay, we elected someone here in the states/Europe. Fine, its accepted.

But the Palestinians elected Hamas and they get punished for it all in the name of being the world police or "terrorism" or the "safety of israel"

The matter of choosing leaders isn't wrong, whats wrong is that the powers that be will punish people for choosing leaders that don't fit their global interests.

It's the corporates, lobbyists and interest groups who elect someone.

What has Gitmo got to do with Shariah Laws?

You don't need the state to legislate and you to act according to Islamic principles, Shariah. Look arround here and tell me, if individuals can behave according to personal Shariah?

Hadad is salafi and likes a dictatorial-monarchial system like the Saudis? What is wrong with Muslims ellecting their own leaders? Don't let these dudes turn you into a suicide bomber, talk to your dad Faysal.

Indeed, average John Doe/Jane Doe do not elect; the electoral college does. I think Keith Ellison can do little; he cannot go against the wishes of the corporates, lobbyists and interest groups.
