the reason why most somali marriages fails is..

xalimoz been baa lagu xareystaa....ugly truthna waa lagu dhaqaa. this is the reality of some of the men whose marriages failed. waa professional liars..and most often, lying to themselves thinking dumarka these days in the west, kaligood ba iswadi kara when it comes raising a family.

but faraxs need a few home truths too:

The rest of humanity does look down on you for fu.cking up your country and joining UNHCR line for food and ticket to western country like a woman or child..

Yes if you are over a certain age its a disgrace that you are in western country begging another man in his own land for provision and refuge..

Be like a Somalilander and take pride in your country and learn from your mistakes..and build your country so you may return and live in dignity in your own land..

Would you ever date or marry non-somalilander....if you are not already married....? Sincere question

FAH1223 sxb that generation see divorce differently. You will find many of that generation still married to each other. Dude it is not only your parents, mine are also married for 29 years. Be safe than sorry or make half habeshi babies every 9 months.

zulaika blame both sides.

Why do Somali girls still rush into marriage that can't survive? You can answer that, but here is my advice how you can avoid.
Have you seen the pressure some of these mothers put on their daughters to get married ? Practically soon as she reaches puberty! And then it HAS to be someone of whom the parents approve. Which rarely results in a husband for longevity.

As for the kids, read Warsan's comment "FIVE years is toooooooooo much, I want to have kids as soon as I marry inshallah". If, after 4 years and 4 kids she's divorced, good luck.

Also, as a sidenote, because zinnah is xaraam, many young people marry JUST so they can get laid xalaal.

Four years, four kids is not even Sunnah Man.....

I thought you knew me better than that?

I believe strongly in the Sunnah, and this means you have to breastfeed the kid for two years........so that would make it 5 years 2 kids the most.

Another thing is I stongly dislike divorce, and if possible will avoid it like the plague.

Salam

Most Somali men are like Htologist and Cawar dudes (merchants of making garobs), they are Chinese factories who make single mums, don't rush into marriages with these casanovas. Know the person very well (at least 3 years).

I endorse my opinion.
American Suufi, are you some sort of a Feminist Man ???? instead of judging others, have you ever judged your own character? Maxaad iga taqaan aniga ?? I'm intelligent Isaaq man with a very inquiring mind sxb ma garatay? AND I'm not low in the confidence department like you maxaa yeelay thread dhan baad u furatay to lead a group of women

Weird dude. I had the same shiit in my head. Meeting too many single mothers around here made me realize there was a big problem with this shit in the somali community.

Riighaye, I dont give a damn about these lost Somali male nomads, I have soft spot only for Somali children. A successfull child should have a wise mother. I'm encouraging future mothers to produce quality Somali children who may make the Somali brand relevant to the world in the future and be able to solve Somalia's problems.

Good thinking, but we need future mothers like Warsan-star Muslimah who know or intend to learn and practice their religion as well. Religion is very important in the child's upbringing. To succeed in this world full of challenges, a child should have a strong religious and cultural foundation like Rage Omar said once.

I have come to the conclusion that somali females suck at being wives

Farahs always get the blame, but i realized that xalimos almost always end up as single mothers regardless if they marry farahs, cadaans, or madows

Why is it?
