Voltage has a point though since Washington State and Oregon are very liberal states with high population of college graduates..i mean, if this race was close it would be up to them to decide and they always pick based on who reason and not by color of skin.

What Voltage saying is that Westcoast states saved a lot of time for everyone involved. They're the most reliable states for the Dems. Other states need to get their act together and should research and figure out winners in advance.
What about the 96 electoral votes from the East coast(New England, New York, New Jersey, MD etc.) that always goes to the democrats? Would Obama win without them? Really it doesn't make sense to say one group of states had more effect in deciding this election than another.
God bless Washington State, Oregon, and California!!

If it was not for them we would have waited a long time last night.

As soon as the hour hit on the closing of the polls, with 0% in, they made Obama President of the United States!!

God bless the West Coast, the barrier against racism, bigotry, and discrimination.
I agree, I'm very proud of the Westcaost states!
as soon as the polls close, Obama went over 300 electrol votes! California alone have 55 and the rest was history!

I'm proud of East Coast too, New York with its' 34 electrol votes !

But never forget the X factor; Florida, Ohio and Penn state! those were states Bush won, and McCain needed to pick

lol

I already knew he WON when they were waiting for the westcoast results, I mean traveling alone in just seattle, I have seen maybe 2 or 3 McCain signs for like the last 2 years, and almost every house had like an Obama sign.
