Some of them are really suffering, you really shouldn't say no unless you don't have the means yourself. No-one asks me for money, but my mom and others, and I always encourage them to send money back home, and if I do have any dosh-stashed then I contribute.

They live in fear, hunger, thirst, lack of adequate health, lack of job, absolutely no income. Aboowe, you should have given your adeer extra money I could never say anything like that to my adeer, I can't even say that to my older siblings (decades older). I don't even call them by their first name Its always Aboowe AbdiHakim, or Abaayo Maryan.

I do want more lil Sacads running around but I'd prefer that they were mine. The sheer cockiness of my adeer ! I can't even afford a wife for myself and he wants me to sponsor his acquisition
