Yes, I have questioned my faith, but I always question why I'm questioning my faith as well.

I'm not athiest. I'm just looking for the truth. Do u have a problem with that? Or would u rather me be a blind sheep that follows whatever most of the people I grew up around believe?

I believe in God's existence but I'm just saying that there have been times when I've questioned that belief. And it only after closely inspecting myself and my deen that the questions subside. But I was just wondering whether others have experienced similar things.

See this is what is wrong with the Muslim people, and specially our Somali people. They just jump down the throat of the guy and never engage in a dialogue to understand one another. Now I am no fan of this character who I see as someone with low self-confidence and most likely associated our religion with anything Arab, and thus his dislike of anything Arab cause him to most likely question faith. However, I don't want to jump to conclusions so, LastREAL...care to explain to us what were your questions about faith? The existence of God himself? What walaal?

That was my first comment walaal...and I wasn't who you were talking about and you weren't who I was talking about. I was referring to all the Somalis in here who called him atheist and were quick to dismiss him.

Questioning one's faith is nothing new to Muslims, it used to happen to the early Muslims as well and there are documented incidents of this happening.

It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
The Shaytaan comes to one of you and says, ‘Who created you?’ And he says ‘Allaah.’ Then the Shaytaan says, ‘Who created Allaah?’ If that happens to any one of you, let him say, Aamantu Billaahi wa Rusulihi (I believe in Allaah and His Messenger). Then that will go away from him.
(Narrated by Ahmad, 25671; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in al-Saheehah, 116).

Scholars encourage the person questioning his faith or the existence of Allah do the following:

“Aamantu Billaahi wa Rasoolihi (I believe in Allaah and His Messenger).”

Sh. Ibn Uthaymeen on such insinuating thoughts & questions:
Waswaas happens to everyone who turns to Allaah by reciting dhikr etc. It is inevitable, but you have to be steadfast and patient, and persevere with your dhikr and prayer, and not give up, because in this way you will ward off the plot of the Shaytaan. “Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaytaan” [al-Nisa’ 4:76 – interpretation of the meaning]. Every time a person wants to turn to Allaah, waswaas brings other matters to mind. The Shaytaan is like a bandit: every time a person wants to move towards Allaah, he wants to block the way. Hence when it was said to one of the salaf that the Jews and Christians say, “We do not experience waswaas,” he said, “They are speaking the truth, for what would the Shaytaan do with a house in ruins?”
(From Fataawa Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, 22/608).
