As I have said so many times, if you want Jubbaland you need to convince Ogaden, everyone needs to be on board. Ogaden and Marexaan need to work together.

Somalia mar dhow "xageed xukuntaa ama lagaa taageersanyahay" ayaa wax lagu qeeybsan doonaa. The more land and clans backing you, the bigger your piece of the pie gets.
Either u have been analyzing MJ's return to prominence with our Puntland project or dhinaca siyaasada adigu shaqsi ahaan waa lagaa dambeeyaa and u possess this political wisdom Siad Barre aun also had. I believe the latter, calaa kuli xaal I hope inadeerada won't listen to u.

Haa dee Xoog people won't join a State for our piece of the pie to get better nor will they join to back us, but it would be to get their piece of the pie. Creating headache. Also don't forget Raxanwein really believe the whole koonfur is their land they won't be giddy just being part of a State.
Starscream,
Adeeer Majerteen yaa taageersan besides Majerteen? Puntlandki dhan lagu sheegayo soo maaha Bossaso, Garowe iyo Galkacyo nuskeed aka 'Majerteeniya'

Murax,
u don't get it. dhulos, warsan, LL, dashishe, awrta, carab saalax, etc. etc. xisaabta Puntland beey ku jiraan, haa na raacaan ama yeysan na raacin, that's beside the point. They're not 'under' MJ, but under Puntland, an entity under tutelage of MJ, hence the fact that MJ as a clan does well in the Somali political theatre. Not b/c MJ as a clan is something, but b/c the block we lead is something. Let this be lesson no.1 walaal, reer keligiis wax ku gaarayo ma jiro. Politics is like corporate business nowadays, in the grand scheme of things, it's in ur interest to build on a broad, large platform from which u can launch ur political campaigns to reach certain objectives. That's what Xoogsade's talking about, with Rahanweyn also on ur team, the Southwest block would be a serious force to be reckoned with, a force Marehan is a big part of, thus Marehan itself would be a serious force, b/c its politics rests on a broad, political platform and safeguarded by a strong alliance. Many Hawiye realize this themselves and are eager to have Rahanweyn as a junior partner in their future autonomous state.
ur right tho, Rahanweyn have changed, have a higher self-esteem compared to few decades ago, so they're going to be tough negotiatiors and will probably give u a headache, but u need to accept that as part of the inevitable process to political dominance. But than again, negotiating with Absame about Jubbaland will not be a walk in the park either, they have their own megalomanic vision for themselves and are all too aware that their only base in Somalia proper, the Jubbas, should be managed wisely and sternly.
