This is my source the UN estimated tht Mareexaaans in Gedo were under 700,000 tht was 14 years ago the UN's population as of 2005 is 1,150,000. That is the population of Beesha Sade (Marexaan and Facayo) just in tht one region in Somalia excluding the various other SADes tht live in Kismayo, the Jubba Region,Bay and Bakool,Galgaduud,Mudug,capital city Xamar which still has some 1000 Sades estimated,further excluding the Somali Galbeed regions of Wardheer, Libaan region, and NFD .Beesha Sade is the second biggest clan in terms of population right after the Ogaden clan which is supposedly the biggest clan in Somali society.These are facts and figures tht the U.N. made which stated tht Mareexaan clan is the largest clan in Somali society.

The main point is if you look at the population of Gedo region alone which is the second biggest region in all Somalia and see the U.N. population estimate and exclude all other areas SADEs inhabit you would realize not only is Mareexaan the biggest clan in Darood but the largest clan in population amongst the 4 large clans in Somali society
