But the original story was that this lady who was in her 20's commited adultery by marrying two men at the same time without them knowing, and was stoned to death for it.
Then VOA ran an interview with a guy who said he was the girls father and did not live in Somalia, and said that his daughter was not in her 20's but rather only 13 and he had sent her to Somalia and she had been raped there while traveling from Kismaayo to Xamar, and she was stoned to death for that.
No pictures of the girl before or after was shown
Both stories seem real fishy but come on
yh true. but even if she was in her 20s and wasnt raped, isnt it, in islam there has to three/four witnesses available? and as for al shabab; if they are good and had the right to stone this female muslim, shouldnt they just make some sort of comment explaining their side of the story?. btw werent there a picture of a girl shown?
anyways alahu aclum, but all we know is that someone was stoned for whatever reason. in any case that poor female havent lost ajar but gained. if she did committ the sin and was stone because of it, alah hada wuu kacafiyey danbigeedii and ajar baa loogu badalay, and if she didn commit the sin, but was wrong, allah ajar buu ugu badala again. insha'alaa alaah xanuunka dhagaxaantas wuu kakafiifiyey. in any case she won both ways. halaag waxaa udhiman kuwii dadka xaqdaro kudila!
Oh and the story goes that she admitted to it so the witnesses aren't needed
No, no pictures were ever shown, at all. Even the pictures in the video of the stoning were from Saudi Arabia and other places. No pictures of that girl being stoned were over shown at all.
Again both stories seem real fishy
