You do realise child birth generally takes up to 20 hours and for some women it can ge as long as 48 hours. Besides the guy in the article gave pretty good reasons why the man should not be there...so just in case you chicken out you'll have good reasons

My cousin works at a maternitary ward and she says there are a lot Faraxs like you who don't even visit the ward They can't even spend time in the waiting room

Sometimes the woman who is pregnant needs to walk around and usually her husband is supposed to help her walk about but he is no where to be found
