OldEnglish,

Makhir State has alot of Potential if it manages to annex the Warsengali-portions of Bosasso from Puntland and Erigavo from Somaliland. Imagine the possibilities

Bro, Las Qoreey is a village of 10 houses. Why settle for the pie when you can get the entire cake?

A small port already exists, not as large as the port invisioned which would be larger than Bosaaso port. I'm not a fan of grandeur but they weren't using logic, especially in the region. Whether building a port that would last long over one that would sink in 50 yrs, time isn't a game Maakhiris have the opportunity to play with.

LQ still stands as one of the most strategic regions in the Horn.

OldEnglish,

There is alot of Cake in Bosasso and Erigavo. Don't settle for a pie when you can have the whole cake.

Remember, Somaliland and Puntland have much more to lose

Dude, look at Xamar

Maakhiris dont need to loot or destroy to gain control/power. When the American dollars and French franc follow like rivers in Laas Qoray. Puntpirates will fall and the mafias will flee to Garowe.

Regrettably, I haven't seen a Warsengali-Darood yet, I hope that they are as calculating and practical as you are
