Re: Gifts for Africa
i understand kambuli, lacag is mandatory. its the only bloodline that is available to our people. but our people are so generous that they send stuff back when they see a departing family member back to the states. its only right we do the same thing and reciprocate. i want to be creative and send something other than what they are used to

Sagaashan,
Remember what the marketing people say about knowing your customers etc, I think it would applied here as well I think for you to send what would have the wow factor (intirely subjective metric) you need to know your family members better...!

Waryaa Sagaashan,
Maalin dhoweyd baa anoo TV daawanaya, ayaa waxaa soo galay xayeysiis, waxaa la xayeysiinayay Toosh ama Karbuuno (flashlight) waxay leedahay dhagax (battery) forever ah. Markay daciifaanba, waad gargaraacaysaa, haddana sidoodii ayay ku soo noqonayaan. Islam markiiba waxaa igu soo dhacay abtigay oo baadiye geel ku raaca iyo dhibka ka haysta mugdiga habeenkii, intay uu abeeso ku joogsanayo, iyo inta qodax mudeysa. Haddaan ogaan lahaa qof u socda halkaa, waxa ugu horreeya een u dhiibi lahaa waa bahashaas

What’s sup afartan iyo konton isku dar?
Toiletries are usually a hit when it comes to females, despite the fact they already get everything imported from Carabta ... somehow a bottle perfume from 'Ingriiska/ Mareynkanka' has got that X-factor according to the reeraha back home.... But i have to say mobile phones and quality bed sheets always did the trick for me
