I have nothing against Hawiye either, but you have to be honest and pinpoint the reason why Hawiye settled area in a mess compared to other Somalis. Surely, there has to be something to make it happen that way.

These shabab guys you speak off shall have no influence in Somaliland at all, i highly doubt that they shall take over Puntland, Galguduud is as far as they'll reach and shall serve as a buffer zone.

You've got to understand that the people of Somaliland shall never accept forcefull rule by the gun from people who are not from the region. Every person in every City, town and village will pick up arms in addition to it's troops. The shabaab have no bases anywhere near, the people here are not as desperate as those from the south.
