Two extremes ba halkan laka jiraa why not just be realistic? No one is perfect therefore no couple is perfected therefore marriage is not perfect. However like Baba Ali said solitary confinement is punishment for Murders so why torture yourself. Don't mention your 'life' i.e. family, work and friends coz it just is not enough.

If a Somali woman dont get married by the Age of 26 its too late for Her some how the somali womans grow old quick.. for a Man its Diffrent he can be any age and get married, but if a man gets married to a Woman who is 30+ he will get bullied by his family for marrying an old Islaan

One thing ive seen in my good years are, all the Educated somali womans try not rush to get married, but they only realise what they did were wrong and that is too late , i have few family members (female) who thinks their careers and Business is more Important then to get married have a Kids and Thats (BULSHID..

So Ladies Dont fall for that trap, get married in good Time, and have couple of Kids raise them good, and then by the age of 45+ you start your own Business and Your kids will be in Universities or maybe work as well..

if you`re in the west too long , it`s bad idea to go somalia and marry 15 years old.
and if you`re in arab country too long it`s not too good idea to marry some one from west unless there is reliagion common knowledge between you two. and most important compermise. better people to come in middle ground.

even if you`re from same culture, religion, from family to another family there`s differences and how one grow in their house hold is important.

but 26 isn't too late, it's the perfect age don't you think? is it not better to have a career prior to getting married? who's going to employ a 40+ female, as for the self employment...you can hardly call it a career if you're basing it on the somali way of doing it?

Career first, then marriage.... after a couple of years have children = the best way forward, and if a female is 29 at that time then she's still got plenty of time left.

it's all depends of the circumstance and what is important to you.
i wouldnt advice any one man or woman to marry and have kids after 35 years old.
you dont want to look your kid`s grand father/mother.
