Here you are dissing salafis, but support xarakat shabaabul murtaddiin who wants forcily convert somalis to salafism which means accepting that arabs are the noblest people,the only nation loved by Allah swt.

I know brother there is no one in somalia that love our prophet as much as the alhusunna!
That is a fact and when it comes in religion teology alhusunna are the right followers of the prophet mohamed PUH.

However I do not agreed this version of somalia that just pop out from nowhere and who weren't there when the habashii was tresspassing our sacred land.
I believe this people who have hijacked the good name of Ahluu sunnah wal jameecaa are just a bunch of gabiil oriented moryaans!!!

The ahlu sunna group have always existed in Somalia, it is only recently that they've taken up arms again. Before the wars were simple tribal wars between various interest groups so they stayed away from it.

Also, they did not fight the ethiopians because they did not target their religion.

Had Al-Shabaab agreed to leave them alone they would not have fought against. However, Al-Shabaab have refused to neither their living nor their dead alive. They were given an ultimatum: Leave your way of life or fight! So they chose to fight. It as simple as that. And I totally believe that as some people it is not enough for you to leave them in peace, they have to control you physically and mentally.

The ethiopians were like an animal to them whenever it came in, they would step to the side the animal would simply go back to where they came from. Atleast, this what I've told by those people who lived there. Unfortunately, most Somalis are motivated by simple anger against the ethiopians. Yes the ethiopians are oppressing our brethren in the Ogaden, however, we have to be smart in the way we do things. We can just rush headlong propelled by anger, we're never going to be successful that way, specially when we have to break the Shariah by indiscriminately killing civilians and sometimes targeting civilians directly. What kind of jihad is that? If jihad is truly for Allah, then His laws must be obeyed, if however, it is for our pride and glory, which it is most likely for most somalis, then you can see that Allah's commands will be put to the side as we are not fighting for Him but for ourselves. How do we then expect help from Allah?

Also, some people say that this group is backed by ethiopia. Ask your self this, how come it was only this group that defeated al-shabaab battle after battle? How come all the other groups that ethiopia is known to support were easily defeated by al-shabaab, however, for some odd reason this group was not? It is clear this group is genuine, they are the only other group willing to die for their beliefs.

You will see that extremist groups have never succeeded in accomplishing their goals, not even once, from morroco to the phillipines. This is a sign that they don't have tawfiq from Allah. "Real Islam is successful, if it is not successful, it is not real Islam."
