I consider you one of those girls who are educated and have a high self-worth. What do you think of this Dhabayaco exalting these whores as "Somali Icons"? Wouldn't that be considered as an insult to the Somali girls? You tell me.

Besides, there is no hatred here, I was just setting the record straight.

As for Sheekhaal LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

First of all the term "Dhabayaco " is a deragatory, politically incorrect. Even the term "qaldaan" ....or "idoor" I rather prefer the mainstream, accepted lingo of Mj or Isaaq. Second of all, i thank u for acknowledging my ' High self worth" it is not absolutely formed yet, but it is in progress alhamdhulilaah. Thirdly, yes i find it very odd that most of the iconic somali women hail from mj qabil or isaaq mind u---(the famous isaaq model warris diriye), it does bring up some odd, uncomfortable consesus, it does make me have the impulse to call them dhilos, but i am a positive forward person. I rather called the reer "ilbaax" clans. There is a price to be smart, gorgeous and ilbaax. However, these formidable women doesnt mean they reflect a bad image on somalis in general. Somalis in general do not have an image as it is- the image they have now is ---a bunch of animals who have been fighting for the last 2 decades. Now they have endeavored into "new" territory....they are pirates and self suicide bombers, i guess they are "uping" their stamina or challenge into more disgsuting lows. These so called iconic hoes that u call them, bring positive attention to somalia. In their midst of quilt and society damning and shame, at the end of the day-- they do philanthropist charity for their home country.Imaan has gone many times back to somalia for charity and promotion of hunger relief in somalia. I value her more than the so called terrorist sheikhs wanna be-- who...... at the very first time.... somali self suicide in xamar--picked up the phone and called usa official --crying...... Alqaida ! Alqaida! ..has hit us! We need money relief please. That i see as the worst munafiqiin act of all!

Basra-,
I don't think Qaldaan nor iidoor is deragatory. The word Qaldaan came about after Isaaqs mindlessly gave away their soveriegnty and became a second citizen in their own country. I think we deserved to be called Qaldaans because that is the biggest wrong/sin Isaaqs ever committed.

As for Iidoor, it signifies the age in which the Isaaq caravans raomed around the land importing the merchandise and goods from as far as India and China and selling it the pagans deep in the hinterlands of the Somali country side.

So both names have truth to their origins and as such I don't find them deragatory either of them. They just describe different times of Isaaq history.

Anyways, let me correct you, Waris Dirie is not Isaaq. She is another Dhabayaco.

Iconic Isaaq women include Amina Mohamoud Warsame the author of "Queens without Crowns", Dr Edna Adan Ismael, Aamina-Weris Sheekh Maxamed (Ahmed Siilaanyo's wife educated lady), Marwo Foosiya Yusuf Sheekh Adan (founder of Hargeisa University)... and so many other Isaaq fine ladies who all made their name with dignity and nobility... .

Wareer wrote:Yawle, Neither modeling nor any girl with bare hair and light, see-through- T-shirt is admissable in Islam.

But the marked Difference here is that you Isaaqland approve of these girls' public image and even encourage your daughters to be westernized. Whereas in Puntland, there's no such a customary.

These girls, though Mjs by blood, are on their own. They have their own individual interest that is seperate from their families and clans.

It's a different story if their families still own them or welcome them in their villages.

Let alone the archeologist female, you Iisaaqland even welcome a fag into Hargeisa and introduce him to ur kids. Nacalatulaah.
