Re: The rise and fall of the ’salafi dawah’ in the US (Final, Co
old news.
nonetheless, i'd not by any happier at the fall of the murji call. batil can exist for so long before its exposed and rejected, e.g. sufism.
p.s. deviant-sufi, the salafis are your brothers in shirk, batil and bidah; so i don't get why you're happy about it.

somali-shit
ARI is ur fellow salafi-jihadist which it's roots are saudi wahabiya like osama bin laden's followers.
dont shoot urself.
FAH
since the advent of wahabiya, muslims went downhill. education, sciences and work are discouraged. look @ saudi arabia, the richest country of all muslim countries and mother of the wahabiya sect, they cant produce scientists and doctors like poor egypt. this wahabiya-salafi ideology appeals to illiterate, poor societies who depend on haram welfare.

Re: The rise and fall of the ’salafi dawah’ in the US (Final, Co
all i know is that the muslim ummah is dividing not uniting as prophet mohamed saw said there will be 73 different sects.
Re: The rise and fall of the ’salafi dawah’ in the US (Final, Co
In our current era, I doubt there's even 23 different sects. The 4 Sunni madhabs aren't sects. Armed Sunni militants do not follow their own sects. The are no Sunni Muslims who call themselves Wahhabi, Ikhwaan (it's a movement's or party's name), Takfiiri, Salafi, Khariiji, etc. What I'm aware of is, there are 2 divisions; Sunni & Shia. Sunni Islam with its 4 madhabs and armed militants universally follow the same teachings. The Shia, however, have numerous off-shoots; Ismaili, Druze, Alawite, etc. Religions such as the Baha'i or Sikhism cannot be attributed to be a sect of Islam. Wikipedia has this map:Spursman wrote:all i know is that the muslim ummah is dividing not uniting as prophet mohamed saw said there will be 73 different sects.

Count the numbers and tell me if it exceeds 23. Bear in mind, the map includes madhabs, which isn't sects.

mad-habs= sects
becouse they are different.every mad-hab in islam was found by sheekh who lived hundred years after the prophet scw Passed Away. . even imaam bukhaari and imaam muslim and others who collected so called authentic HADIITHS, they come IN THIS WORLD ALMOST 200 YEARS AFTER PROPHETS DEATH.
therefore all madhabs SHAAFICIYA.XANBALIYAH XANAFIYAH. AND SO ON are ACCUALLY SECTS. FIRQOOYIN.
marka SINGEL SECT firqa kaliya ayaa janada galeysa according a xadiiths.
which sect??only GOD KNOWS!
but i know FIRQADA JANADA GALEYSO waa la hubaa inaysan noqon doonin Firqada SALAFIS (WAHABIS). that sect was found bye YAHUUUUDA
waxa kaliya ee SALAFI WAHABI SECT AY ISLAAMKA KU SOO KORDHIYEEN WAA JAAHILIYA TAASOO AH inay islaamka ka dhigeen DAD DHAGO XIRAN. JAAHILIIIN,INDHOOLAYAAL. QAMIISYO DHAADHEER XIRTA. AFKOODA URAYA. NAAGAHANA TEEENDHO MADOOW LOO GALIYO

Voltage
the Holy Quran deploys a striking metaphor. In Sura Ibrahim, verses 24 to 26, we read:
See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? - A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high). Giving its fruit at all times, by the Leave of its Lord and Allah sets forth parables for mankind in order that they may remember. And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree uprooted from the surface of earth having no stability.
It is against this criterion that we must judge the quality of contemporary 'activist' styles of faith. Is the young 'ultra', with his intense rage which can sometimes render him liable to nervous disorders, and his fixation on a relatively narrow range of issues and concerns, really firmly rooted, and fruitful, in the sense described by this Quranic image?
Let me point to the answer with an example drawn from my own experience.
I used to know, quite well, a leader of the radical 'Islamic' group, the Jama'at Islamiya, at the Egyptian university of Assiut. His name was Hamdi. He grew a luxuriant beard, was constantly scrubbing his teeth with his miswak, and spent his time preaching hatred of the Coptic Christians, a number of whom were actually attacked and beaten up as a result of his khutbas. He had hundreds of followers; in fact, Assiut today remains a citadel of hardline, Wahhabi-style activism.
The moral of the story is that some five years after this acquaintance, providence again brought me face to face with Shaikh Hamdi. This time, chancing to see him on a Cairo street, I almost failed to recognise him. The beard was gone. He was in trousers and a sweater. More astonishing still was that he was walking with a young Western girl who turned out to be an Australian, whom, as he sheepishly explained to me, he was intending to marry. I talked to him, and it became clear that he was no longer even a minimally observant Muslim, no longer prayed, and that his ambition in life was to leave Egypt, live in Australia, and make money. What was extraordinary was that his experiences in Islamic activism had made no impression on him - he was once again the same distracted, ordinary Egyptian youth he had been before his conversion to 'radical Islam'.
This phenomenon, which we might label 'salafi burnout', is a recognised feature of many modern Muslim cultures. An initial enthusiasm, gained usually in one's early twenties, loses steam some seven to ten years later. Prison and torture - the frequent lot of the Islamic radical - may serve to prolong commitment, but ultimately, a majority of these neo-Muslims relapse, seemingly no better or worse for their experience in the cult-like universe of the salafi mindset.
This ephemerality of extremist activism should be as suspicious as its content. Authentic Muslim faith is simply not supposed to be this fragile; as the Qur'an says, its root is meant to be 'set firm'. One has to conclude that of the two trees depicted in the Quranic image, salafi extremism resembles the second rather than the first. After all, the Sahaba were not known for a transient commitment: their devotion and piety remained incomparably pure until they died.
What attracts young Muslims to this type of ephemeral but ferocious activism? Read the entire article here by Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad ( Professor T.J Winters ) http://www.masud.co.uk/ISLAM/ahm/fgtnrevo.htm

Re: The rise and fall of the ’salafi dawah’ in the US (Final, Co
I personally dislike those neo-salafis (fake salafis), however I can see what American Sufi and Enlightened Sista are trying to promote.
And this is a Western Islam (secular islam) and the champions of this kinda of islam is Hamza Yusuf and the man just mentioned by enlightened sista. These are people originally white middle to upper class reverts who are trying there upmost best to change islam in a similar way christianity and Judaism changed from its origin.
Oh muslims be vigilant of these people and they will only misguide those who are destined to be misguided
And ALLAH light will never be put out and ALLAH will perfect it even if the KAFIRUUN dislike it

Theres one dude who goes to the salafi masjid or the sp masjid...he's got a big tatto of a naked woman on his back, a big cross on his arm and wears a very short khamiis which shows all his tattos on his leg and the khamiis is short sleeved to show his tatoo on his arms, wears the khamiis so back so it shows the naked woman...he sells ataars and chats to any woman who walks past, still got the street in him although he embrassed Islam, last year he married a somali sister and the mehr was A BUKHARII BOOK, alright, then 2 weeks ago he got married to another somali girl, this time the mehr was "an" apple,, the brothers who were there at the mehr said the guy couldnt wait to get out of there, ther was no grace or sharaaf about the whole thing,,a week before another mehr took place where the whole thing had a good feel to it,but this one felt like no want wanted to there,it was like an extra thing to come and ask for the girls hand and do it the propa way...
But wait for it
a while ago abu khdija came to a somali sister who was a single mother, he told her he had a revert brother for her who was a good brother, worked hard, studied hard and was part of the rightous salafi masjid, the sister was relectant and she didnt want to rush into this as she was going bk to somalia for first time, she was brought up here after the war and she never seen the country and she was all excited of going back to her mother land.
But abu khadija started applying his wicked tricks, first sending out "salafi" sisters to put presure on her, then whisprings among the women that she was racist, and then came the best one she was starting to be off the "manhaj". The sister didnt have no choice but to accept.
Now the least thing you would think for a group of people, who operate a marriage Bureau, is to check the sort of people they introducing to the sisters. Their backgrounds, wether they have a history of violence, drugs, abuse and the rest of it.
the sister says she was happy with her man, he would take them out and be nice and kind to them and do what anormal husband would do.
now she started to get worried when her little son become quite and scared to be touched, then one day she walked in to his bedroom and her worst nighmore was in front of her.. i cant repeat but it was horrible, a grown man with a child..he ran off she called the police, when she was interviewed she didnt even know his name, he was introduced to her as abu-abdullah, and thats how she become to know him.
she was asked if she knew of his history and she told the police of how she become his wife. abu khadija was arrested and first he denied all knowledge of it, then the forms was brought up and he said ooh he never checked becuz of the good characters of the brother.
Then he turned on the sister saying it was her fault she should have seen the signs, and if she was a good sister this wouldnt of happend to her and basicly he was telling others to distance themselfs and the masjid from her, she was damaged goods...
The police quized him further but he got away again. but better now he takes the money of the police and works for them...i didnt want to say anything on the main forum coz it makes me sick...i left out few details coz they not good for the eyes..
Now the funny one
this one been doing the circules for a while and the somali sister whos been involved had to leave town and live somewhere else some say she left the country and gone to canada for the shame she felt, her mixd race husband been married to his first wife for only 7 months before the somali one agreed to marry him,his first wife who was also a somali didnt like the fact that any woman would agree to marry a man whos only been married for 7 months or so...but they both didnt see the shock..one night he invited the second to watch a programm at the house of the first, leaves the room comes bk in his box of shorts and starts telling them both how he always wanted to have both of his wifes at the same time..and how he stayed out of haraam and got married and now they owe him his loyalty...he kept talking and talking, till he convinced them both...now the first wife felt so ashamed she went and told the woman imaam at another masjid who told her not to go back to him and stay away from the salafi masjid...
when he found out he kicked off big time and went round to her familys house and a fight broke out..mind you the family didnt know till that point what happend...anyway no one knows how the news got out...the other somali girl refused to leave him...in the "brothers" circules he become a something of a mythical figure..somali's who go to the salafi masjid are among the most defetist, the most cowardest, who dare not speak out of term just incase they get kicked out of the manhaaj...they knew what was taken place yet they kept theyr eyes down when the jamaican brothers walked pass..They pretended this thing that was happning wasnt hapning, and if they stay quite on this "fitna" then somehow it would go awy...little did they know that the nxt victims would come from their families...
theres alot more shocking stories like these every other day u hear of shameful story...these new salafiya guys are acting on the manhaaj you either with us or againts us if you are with us marry one of us...
