Mad May wrote:^ This is the worst suicide attack in Somalia, that's why we are horrified. In fact I'm horrified that suicide bombings are happening in Somali at all, its completely alien to us.
.
How is it the worst? The suicide bombings in Beledweyne, Hargiesa and Bosaso had more casualties.
Ilahaay ha unaxaristo.

Before there ever was al-Qaeda, there were the Dutch soldiers fighting against Koxinga forces, Lieutenant Jan van Speijk, Karl Klinke, Ignacy Hryniewiecki, the Leonidas Squadron, the Japanese Kamikazes, Viet Minh death volunteers, Tamil Tigers and many others. Somalis are no different that others like Iraqis who prior to the occupation of their country had no suicide bombings.

Once again, you're mistaken. It isn't alien to Somalis. For instance, during the Daraawiish attacks against colonial forces, it's highly conceivable they carried out attacks in which they sacrificed their lives.

Excellent point. The average people who are killed on a daily basis are better than those TFG ministers as they are more honest, work hard to earn their bread, do not collaborate with the enemy (i.e. occupation forces), etc.
