You men her brother.

He is xassan walanwal and she was hodan walanawal.

you got one right and one wrong. Hodan never loved or acknowledge cilmi boondheri. He felt for her and she knew nothing about it. However, there were stories that she did start to come around after his death when she heard that he died loving her. Women eh!

in addition, you got the history part of col. xassan keyd wrong. His coup attempt was right after unification with somalia. He felt it was unfair that junior officers trained for police duties in the south were his superiors to him and other group who had graduated from higher royal military academy. The southern officers were policemen, he was military colonel. k. Thus you figure out the unfair advantage given to the South. He saw what was coming. So he rebelled and attempted the coup just right after the unification. The SNM and SSDF were much, much later.

i was a refugee from the 80's but since 91 iam no longer a refugee..
and my family has never applied for refugee status...
we came close to bieng refugees when your uncle siad leaned on the UAE government and they started harrasing my father back in 85(for SNM activities), but they stopped after a few months..

and today my parents are planning to retire to burco in the comming summer, even though they both have Australian passports
and own their own home there.

technical definition of refugee:
Under the United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees from 1951, a refugee is a person who (according to the formal definition in article 1A of this Convention), owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside the country of their nationality, and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail him/herself of the protection of that country.
