To MMs defence...I dont think shes' an Islam-aphobe. She hates the injustice and misrepresentation (of islam) that alot of the people who say they practice the religion have done.

Ok maybe went a little too far. But you seem to always post articles demeaning muslims. Whats your agenda?

Thankfully, it is not up to you to deport anyone, my dear. I say hasty because your story does not make much sense but you are quick to agree with it. How did the French find out that this man was forcing his wife to wear the niqab? Did she tell them? If his wife is being forced and his wife knows he does not have citizenship, why did she not just walk away? Why is she even agreeing to help with his citizenship application if she knows that this nightmare of a man is going to eventually legally live with her and continue forcing her to wear the niqab? Lots of unanswered questions but May still wants Gordon to pay attention.

Grown ups, dear May, take their time with such stories. You are too hasty for your own good.
Too much questions, I'll answer one. If you read the article you would have understood that during the interview process he admitted to refusing to accept the equality of the sexes and admitted that his wife must wear the niqaab. He might not have a knife to her throat but he was placing pressure on her to dress the way he wanted her to dress, this goes against the principles of the Republic, therefore he doesnt deserve citizenship. Simple.

Attention seeking methods

Attention-seeking is particularly noticeable with females so I've used the pronoun "she". Males also exhibit attention-seeking behaviour.

Attention seekers commonly exploit the suffering of others to gain attention for themselves. Or they may exploit their own suffering, or alleged suffering. In extreme forms, such as in Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy, the attention-seeker will deliberately cause suffering to others as a means of gaining attention.

he had ordered his wife to cover herself with a head-to-toe veil.
This is subjugation. Is it 'advice' to tell your wife that she is inferior and must wear what he tells her to wear? Waa maya.
