The problem with the midgaans is the midgaans where an ancient Somali civilization in the horn of Africa . Islam was introduced in to our lands 150 years after Hidjra Officially the story goes as thus.
There where powerful Kings at ardu al somaal. the midgaans refused islam and kept having their own ancient religion, the name mid go comes from, every day the locals used to up rise against the ruling kafir government maalin ba mid ba g oa . meaning mid bay dilan the locals.
Because of the uprising that’s where the name midgo comes from, 100s of years later after the ifat empire was established in seylac they the Midgaan kings where losing power , because of more Islamic influence in the region. At some point the Ruler of the midgaans was Maxammad bin xanif. He was an imposter he has chosen an Islamic name to hide his hypocrisy , his real name was Bucur bacayr. He was trapped by the father of umar walashma. Also known As Yusuf al kaynun the sufi saint , and killed by his Cousin Sheikh isxaaq bin axmed Al calawi. Dakhal haadiihi jamal wala tukhrijj

And its founder was Yusuf al kaynun , And his spirutal leader was Sheikh isxaaq bani axmed. So the reason why Midgaans are often discriminated was because of religion and their religious believes.
The midgaans where dad la jabbiye laga adkaday. The midgaans have no confidence they have a low self esteam. Haday iyaku is ixtraaman . Somalis would respect them.
