A four year age difference isn't significant; I sincerely doubt that there's a blatant disparity between the maturity level of a thirty and a thirty-four year old.
Discrepancies pertaining to age differences begin to arise when one partner's old enough to parent the other partner.

No big deal. Women are actually better matched with much younger men. So 19yr old boys should marry women in their 30s and men in their 30s should marry 19 year old girls. So when the 19yr old get to their 30s they get rid of the haggered old wives/husbands hitting the 50s and marry the next batch of 19 year olds, the cycle continues...The ones in their 50s may get married to each other and retire peacefully.
