As for Hargeisa being his main place of dealings, perhaps. However, this administration has refused for the company to open a bank and thus resulted in it taking it to Djbouti instead. From what i have heard, limitation have been set on the company reducing it's full potential.

Caligaab, here's the problem why kids don't go to Puntland; most of their families, like mine, have been living in places like Banaadir, Marka, Baydhabo and Kismayo for over 5 generations. We simply don't have anywhere to go in Puntland, no family or anything. Our families, some of us only, have started building homes in Puntland in just the last 10 years. Qabil means something, sure, but why spend $4000 on travel to just walk around some f-king tuulo with nothing to do. You have family in Burco and places, I have none in Puntland, neither do most MJs here, that's why we don't visit. Would you visit Yemen just because Sheikh Isaaq came from there?

The southern Majerteenis left Puntland 100 and some 150 years ago, the only cousins they know in Puntland are 5 generations apart, they have very little relation. I have 5th cousins in Gaalkacyo that my grandmother visits but for her they are only 2 generations from her, so its not okay for me to see them since they don't even know my family tree. I have a 7th cousin in Eyl that was caught by Iran for piracy, I didn't even know his family existed. Most MJs in the West are koonfurians not reer Bari so they don't even know what Puntland looks like, even their parents and grandparents don't know. Only your parents came to Xamar, me my great grand parents came to Afmadowe.

Does not all correct i mean i know lots of Majeerteens Migrated southwards during the colonial time and even before that , But Puntland was always or north eastern Somalia was always their home of origin Am I right And after the war according to my knowledge all the majeerteens Actually all of the darods, When you exclude Merehan started Building and living in Puntland As a way to survive Lots of Majeerteens started relocating them selfs in garowe and bosasaso , baack in the days garowe and bosaaso were small towns now they are big cities its because people moved back and started populating these areas

Not all Darood, just Majerteen, little Hartis and Daroods, Awrtable, Leelkase and later Dulbahante and Warsangeli.

Yes absolutely all Majerteen call Puntland their home but that does not mean they have family there. It took a while for the southerners to get things together and take part in the process. It was mostly the wars in Kismayo that made Majerteen give up on the south and move to Puntland so it wasn't until like 1998 that things started to move fast for Puntland, most of the businesses are from southernern majerteen who are new arrivals. A lot of southern majerteen are stubborn though, they don't care much about garowe, just xamar, they're the ones joining al-itixaad and shit.

Paidmonk, most of the Majerteen communities in USA is combined to minnesota and i never seen any of them saying we are from the south infact many are from bosaso, garowe, galckayo and they go there daily.

Paidmonk, The difference between Isaaq and Darood is that majority of darood moved to xamar and surrounding areas post 1960, so when the country collapsed most of them only knew their home as xamar and moving back to their ancestral degaans, such as puntland, was very difficult as they were never really from there. Whereas Isaaq, even though they moved to xamar after the union, they didn't have any previous links to the area of have any degaans nearby such as the jubbas, so for them when the war erupted every man and woman knew exactly where they were from and assimilating into their previous lifestyle back in waqooyi wasn't a problem for them.

As for dahabshiil, they do not represent SL they are a business and whether they are investing in china or bosaso it doesn't matter to them.

Diplock, Jamaame is 50/50 Jareer and Biimaal today. ---but even before the civil war there were still more Arabs and Jareer than Somalis. Yeah there's a lot of Dhullos from the south especially Kismayo.

Cumar, that's exactly what I was saying to these guys, Isaaqs were always linked to their regions whereas Puntland for many MJs was an abandoned desert.
