Every married man should have a friend like you. I know such a friend who named his tiny flat The Hostel. I once went to visit him and found a young man in his twenties and an old man almost in his seventies staying there. Both men had marriage trouble and (temporarily) left their wives. I could only imagine the night time conversations these guys had.

I have a friend like that as well. He lives in his small 1 bedroom flat, and every other week he has a guy or two sleeping on his couch due to marriage troubles. It's like he's expecting it now. Whats with the rash of these cases among Somali couples ? I am puzzled why a man would go back to a woman who pulls out a kitchen knife and cuts him with it. Shiid, if I was forced to jump out the 2nd floor bathroom window with nothing but my macawiis for a parachute, I'd be damned to go back.

Hey think about it, it keeps him on his toes and serves as a great motivator when he is not upto great performance. This serves him as a reminder, kinda like those refreshment courses you gotta do when you work in your career every few years or so.
