But the vast majority of Somaliland citizens also want to secede. Are you going to deny that fact sxb?malakumod wrote:sxb there are coutnless somalis in northern somalia that support the unity of somalia and oppose secession. remember you dont speak for everybody in northen somalia

That is generally your dabeecad on here, SOL and from what I have briefly seen and heard.. real life...You are generally clan obsessed, but cleverly hide it with 'Somaliland'. Had anyone else said 'Somaliland novelist wins...' I would'nt blink...you on the other hand....Eebe ha ku sahlo, nin quman ma tihid emarcassmith wrote:

Heh, that is surely your interpretation of events. Still, I beg to differ, for surely any other Somali person wouldnt see an issue with my political stance but your opinions, and I say this speculatively is politically skewed, in other words, with a name like GedoGirl - with your name being induced by region with a known historical settlement patterns, how can I ever expect you to agree with or even accept anything that is slightly to do with Somaliland.gedo_gurl wrote:That is generally your dabeecad on here, SOL and from what I have briefly seen and heard.. real life...You are generally clan obsessed, but cleverly hide it with 'Somaliland'. Marcus smith don't watch the haters man
a young, talented and award winning somali girl writer + somaliland in the same sentence is too much for the average hater to handle

Hahahaha Marcas...I love Somaliland people, and the country in general like I love any other Somali people.... I also happen to have more friends from that region than anywhere else, so gtfo....and as for my name, that happens to be where half of me is from. I joined Snet as a young teen and had no idea about any of that crap, it was an innocent choice of name...search my posts for anything against Somaliland or a qabiil, I dare you to find even one single thing.
Quite a baseless deduction on your part Marcas, I thought you were smart enough to avoid simple assumptions? At least I based mine on observance, however wrong it may be

You should have no exception of me or from anyone else for that matter. My views are strictly mine and mine alone.gedo_gurl wrote: I thought you were smart enough to avoid simple assumptions? At least I based mine on observance, however wrong it may be

Matters are not a simply as you would like them to be. Anyone whose narrow-mindedness reduces things to a 'right' or 'wrong' is very ignorant. Surely, the truth is subjective and has different meanings to different people, or is your centre of gravity the only truth and everyone else's opinions is void and irrelevant. Of course, I am not saying your one of these ignorant people and I am surely you qualify with flying colours.gedo_gurl wrote:You're not making any sense now. Re: Somaliland novelist wins prestige literary award
Again, jumping to conclusions. Marcas, with all due respect... I suggest you take take a deep breath before typing anything. I said you were 'wrong' in connection to this pitiful statement:
I think I am able to say you are right or wrong when it comes to a statement regarding my own identity and political opinions...otherwise I would be mentally ill....also, how can you speak for all Reer Gedo, most of them have no idea about Somaliland its politics, its too far away and concerns most of us as much as snowfall in England would an Inuit. You are an argumentative young man, I suggest you take a serious chill pill.with a name like GedoGirl - with your name being induced by region with a known historical settlement patterns, how can I ever expect you to agree with or even accept anything that is slightly to do with Somaliland.

No, I dont know you at all..I just wanted to freak you out a little...I was a bit worried when you didnt say anything straight away...thought you had delusions of grandeur. I got you name from someone on here's post to you, it seems you have no sense of humour...even though mine is a little strange. Anyways, good day to you Marcas, it was wonderful wasting time with you
