What a ghetto, kuwii lahaa 'america waa la wada shaqeestaa' halkey ka dhaceen

Paidmonk, Exec is from the UK so his 'UK' trip doesn't count. Scandanavia is around the corner, i will be going there on Friday for 3 days and it only cost me £105 and is a couple hour flight. Soomaalida waxey tiraahdaa ' Africa ingriiska ayeey uu dhowdahay', atleast that's what i used to hear when living in holland as a child. i did not understand what made the parents say this, turns out that every year families are going back home from here. Some families i know go every 2 years. I was there last year, going scandinavia this coming week and planning a trip to Turkey for December.

Welcome to England, this is why i'm glad they colonised us

I think it is because they don't have massive bills like people in the states do. My car alone costs me at least a $1000 year in insurance alone.

Are some of you millionaire vagabonds -- in all my years of working and saving I don't even have enough money to pay for a trip to the airport, are you guys being paid by the government just to travel? Between work, school, and living expenses I and the typical fat American are left with less than $500 to spend on myself, where do you Euro-Malis pull out all this extra cash, do you all share half a bedroom to pull off these millionaire travels? :|

Saxiib I don't know what to say, perhaps its cheaper for us to travel around the world. I worked while I was student, and I have been working since I graduate, I pay for all my expenses apart from my trips to africa. I don't see traveling as a significant cost. Most somalis here go on holiday at least once a year, usually during summer break.

My cousins that live in MN they also travel, they been to UK a couple of times and we went to Africa together twice.

it's easier and more convenient for Europeans to travel to other European countries and/or the middle east. tickets are dirt cheap when traveling within Europe, imagine and already budget airline Southwest cutting their prices by half. also, for travel to the middle east, most flights are under 5-6hrs which significantly reduce the price compared to that of the 8-9.5hr flight across the pond, not to mention the already weak dollar.

What's the cost of going to and living in Africa? I am self-employed at the moment which gives me tax-free income (fuck IRS 8-) ) and free time when I want. Lets deduct $2000 from the ticket price to Morocco, how much would it cost to stay in Africa for 8 months? How much do you think it would cost to travel from South Africa to Egypt?
